I Love Lamp (Even More)

Remember my little blue lamp from this post? Well his finishing touch was a snazzy new shade. Unfortunately, this purchase proved to be a bit more elusive than I had previously anticipated. I was picturing a basic white drum shade to top this guy off. (Something I could later fix up with some fabric or paint). On three separate Target trips, the lamp shade in my mind was nowhere to be found.

Then yesterday, I walked past the lighting section during a routine Target trip and... success! They had only one small drum shade in stock.

It was meant to be! Now my blue lamp looks complete and no longer feels inadequate next to his new chandelier roommate.
