bar cart

Last weekend, I visited the sidewalk sale of a consignment store with my mom, not planning on buying anything for myself. Then I saw this old metal electrical cart and my plans went out the window. Since moving from our apartment, we missed having a dedicated bar area in our house. (I say this like we drink all the time, but in actuality I'm not sure there's been any hard alcohol consumed in this house since we moved...) Anyway, I've seen lots of creative bar carts and I knew this old cart would fit the bill perfectly. The $25 price tag convinced me that this guy needed to come home with us. 

One day last week during Hayden's afternoon nap, I cleaned off the cart and added our collection of alcohol and barware. 

It's so nice to have a designated cart for all this, because our kitchen is small and cabinet space is at a premium.

 And don't you worry, this bar cart will be relocated or repurposed once Mr. H is mobile. I hear babies and bars don't mix well!
