baby shots

On Friday Hayden had his two month check-up, including his first round of shots. Any mama knows how hard it is to watch your baby get poked in the legs with big scary needles. Hayden handled it like a champ, waking up from a nap and crying for just a couple minutes before going straight back to sleep. However, poor baby ran a low grade fever  all weekend long and just wanted to cuddle with Mommy. Since Hayden has been a pretty easy and happy baby so far, it broke my little heart to see him sick and miserable. This weekend gave me a glimpse into the millions of mommy moments in my future; the happy, sad, sick, angry, and silly moments that lay ahead for me and my boy.
