the details

First of all, thank you all so much for your kind Facebook posts, blog comments, texts, and e-mails- we certainly feel the love!

Here's some details on Little Baby R and the pregnancy so far:

Baby Reisfelt, who we affectionately refer to as Teeny-Tiny is due August 3rd, 2012. We found out I was pregnant the day after Thanksgiving. Nick had me confirm the pregnancy with not 1, but 4 more home pregnancy tests. I'm a little over 3 months along and if you couldn't tell, starting to show just a bit (although it feels like a lot to me!).  

The first trimester has left me pretty exhausted and sick. Morning sickness typically strikes everyday at 4 am and lasts well into the morning. Although (cross your fingers!) it seems to be letting up slightly in the last week. 4 am wake-up calls have made for early bedtimes and not much energy, hence the lack of blogging over the last couple months. 

We won't know for awhile whether we are having a boy or girl . We are planning on keeping the name of Teeny-Tiny a secret until he or she is born but we'll definitely be sharing the gender!

Here's our first (and only) picture of Teeny-Tiny, taken at 6 weeks. We have another appointment in a couple weeks so we're looking forward to some more detailed pictures!
